Lee Harris's
Album Sessions

Classic albums.
Performed live in the intimate surroundings of The Half Moon, Putney. The first two Album Sessions will mark the live debut of A Surrogate Band: Lee Harris (Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets) on guitar and vocals, Dom Beken (Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets) on keyboards and vocals, Yaron Stavi (Phil Manzanera, Robert Wyatt, David Gilmour) on bass, and Ged Lynch (Peter Gabriel, Goldfrapp, David Gilmour) on drums and percussion. The first editions explore two very different moments in Pink Floyd’s history: Meddle and The Dark Side Of The Moon. For the latter, A Surrogate Band will perform Eclipse – A Piece for Assorted Lunatics, the early 1972 live version of the music that would become one of rock’s most celebrated albums, featuring songs including Breathe, Time, Money and Brain Damage. Both Album Sessions will also feature additional Pink Floyd material from the same era.As Lee explains: “Nick wisely said that what we do in the Saucers is not recreating but reinterpreting and that is very much the ethos of A Surrogate Band too. We’ll honour the iconic moments while allowing the music to evolve live. Just as Pink Floyd did on stage.”
